binance Pay has partnered with French fintech Lyzi to enable cryptocurrency payments at over 80 businesses in popular destinations including Cannes, Nice, Antibes, and Monaco. This collaboration brings digital currency solutions to the region’s luxury tourism and retail sectors.

Shoppers can now use various cryptocurrencies by simply scanning a QR code at participating locations. The system offers:

- No gas fees for customers
- Immediate euro conversion for merchants
Local Government Backs Digital Currency Adoption
Cannes Mayor David Lisnard has actively promoted cryptocurrency acceptance among local businesses. “We’re training Cannes merchants in crypto payments as part of our Web3 strategy,” Lisnard stated on LinkedIn.
